I met this wonderful couple when they hired me to do their engagement session a few years back and this time, I got to meet their precious new baby girl Josie :-)

When we met this beautiful family at the park, we were so surprised to see that we already knew them (mom and daughter at least)! Lily went to Pre-school with the lovely Emma and we had a playdate with her an her mom a few years back. They were so great to photograph and were so patient even though we were dealing with 90 degree temperatures!

So as much as I love shooting babies on blankets and in baskets......and trust me, I really do love it. I love, love, love newborn lifestyle sessions even more. The true-to-life interactions between a new baby and her parents and siblings is priceless, and the idea that I get to silently document every touch, look and soft baby kiss makes me happy beyond belief.
