Unexpected gem....

I took this image while setting up and testing my speed-light. Technically there are several things wrong with this photograph but there is something real and endearing about it as well. It has turned out to be one of my favorites from the session.

Mesmerized by Animal Jam

Not sure she even realized I was there. NATGEO Animal Jam has apparently taken over all the free time she has :-/ It looks like I'm going to have to start limiting her screen time which has never been an issue before but I guess decorating her virtual den is more fun now than looking for bugs and building forts. Sigh..... she's growing up.

When we met this beautiful family at the park, we were so surprised to see that we already knew them (mom and daughter at least)! Lily went to Pre-school with the lovely Emma and we had a playdate with her an her mom a few years back. They were so great to photograph and were so patient even though we were dealing with 90 degree temperatures!
